What are the rules of the BCS? 6 automatic births and 2 at large? Assuming we win out and so does Penn State......how does that put us BCS bound regardless?

If you figure UCLA and Miami to lose, and either LSU or Alabama, the problem is that Alabama could lose and still stay above us, for sure. I think we would jump over the other 3, though. It could be very tough to get into that top 8.
And if Miami somehow beats VaTech, then we are even more screwed.
