Here's the rundown since noon.

* Went to deposit a check at the local branches ATM. ATM seizes my card. Seems the card has passed its "expiration date" and my bank had not sent me a new one to replace it before this happened. Now have at least a week without a debit card.

* Computer goes down at work. Trying to finish a project for a meeting tomorrow with a large client and about 1/4 of the systems in my office went down.

* My phone was making strange noises all day long as though it is about to explode. I'm figuring that will be my surprise when I go in tomorrow morning.

* The new PS3 has a "hard disk" that is corrupted. Thankfully it is still under warranty. I'm expecting it will be gone to Sony for at least a month getting repaired. I do miss the old days when you just took one back to the store you bought it from and they gave you a new one. Now, how the heck am I supposed to watch my Ironman in BlueRay?!?

I tried to get $40 out of one of the little gas station ATM's last week, and it only spit out a reciept. It said I withdrew the money. It did not give me any money. I seriously considered body slamming the motherfucker, and I think the clerk noticed what was happening, because she asked me if I needed help. I told her the problem. She says "You'll have to take it up with your bank". I told her "I'll be taking this up with your boss...where are they?" She says the boss isn't gonna be in 'til morning. Fine. I leave my name, number and take her name down.

The next morning, I get a call from the manager. She says "Usually, is what we do, is we have the person contact their bank...(me: )..."but, I checked the ATM this morning when I got in, and it said it was $40 over, so you can come by today and pick up your cash"...I say thank you very much, and hang up.

I get to the store a few hours later to retrieve my cash, and as I start to speak, the lady guesses why I'm there and fetches my money. She tells me, laughing, that "This is about the fourth time this has happened this week, uh-yuk (lol)". So I say, "Really, that's FUNNY to you? Maybe it should be OUT OF ORDER if it's fucking with people's cash", and I walked out.

This was a lot of typing for minimal laughs.
