Same here an early gen xer who lived it all. All of the memes, drinking out of the house, having to come home when the street lights came on, the playgrounds were death traps, we got swats in school up until the 80's, our coaches screamed in our faces and said things that would get them immediately fired now, eating as much junk as you want and staying skinny, looking for movie times in a printed newspaper that you had to buy, riding (legally) in the back of a pick up or in a car with no seat belts, the disco era, the punk era, sports only being shown on network TV, two games a week if you were lucky, there were plenty of blue collar jobs, the culture was mostly positive... Great times.
