Team I would most like to meet in a Bowl

Especially living in the heart of SEC country, team I would most like to play in a bowl game is Alabama. I think they are really over rated. They will lose to Florida, dropping them out of the NC game. Penn State goes to Rose Bowl if they win out, which then leaves the Buckeyes hoping for an at large bid. Utah and Boise State may as well have a high school schedule, so they win out, but Texas and Oklahoma could very well lose another game (texas maybe 2 with their schedule), which would then put the Buckeyes in a pretty good position for a Sugar Bowl bid.
Easiest team to beat will be Utah or Boise State, but I would love to meet Alabama. Two historic programs, but, as I said above, I think Alabama is WAYYYYYY over rated. Kicking their cans would probably put us back into the top 5 at the end of the season.....
so, who would you most like to play in a bowl game

1. USC - Maybe I'm just a masochist, but I'd love to see what Beanie could do against that defense. And, honestly, I love it when my teams go against the best.

2. 'Bama - Revenge for '98 against Nick Satan. And, a historic football program and a good team.

3. Oklahoma - I'd love it if we would get to take down the mighty run-up-the-score Oklahoma Sooners.

I live in Gainesville, so I get a lot of [censored] from Florida/SEC fans... So the teams I'd like to play would be SEC teams that I think we can beat...

To be honest, I think our team is in an incredibly fragile mental state right now... If we were to get down by 14 or so I think we might give up, get dominated by 30, and the downward spiral we're in against big OOC matchups would get worse. So my teams would be

1) Alabama. Same reasons as yours. They got a ton of credit for massacring Clemson and Georgia, two teams who I thought at the time were WAY overrated. I think I've been proven at least somewhat right (I must be psychic or something, calling that Clemson would be overrated...). They would give us trouble.. Coffee is damn good... But IMO we would win. If not, it would at least be a great game. And it's a game between two great historic programs. And I absolutely despise Nick Saban, and beating him would give me all the pleasure in the world.

2) LSU. I think it's a possibility if we end up in the Capital One Bowl or something, which hopefully won't happen... But if it does... Revenge for last year would be oh so sweet. And again, I think we can take down LSU easy...

3) South Carolina. They actually might be a little underrated.. I think there's a possibility we play them.. If we do I would absolutely love the opportunity to lay down the whoopin' on Spurrier.. Plus get some other SEC revenge from a little bit ago.

4) Texas. The annoying thing about those home-and-homes is the series doesn't get resolved! We're tied 1-1, I'd like the opportunity to go 2-1 on the decade. They're really good, I think it would be an amazing game.

5) Florida. Florida's so low on this list because the risk of losing is high... To lose to them again would be absolutely awful, I couldn't talk to anyone down here about football ever again without those 2 games being brought up. But a win would be even sweeter. The thing is, their offense is just amazing and it matches up well against us. I can see us missing about a million tackles on Harvin, he's exactly the type of player that gives us fits, and he's as good as you get. And their defense is pretty solid, it'd take a better passer than Pryor to cut them up. However, I give us a pretty good shot, because when it comes down to it, they have not faced a defense as good as ours, nor a back as good as Beanie. Also, look at how well Pryor has been improving... In the time after The Game and before bowl game, who knows how much Pryor will improve? We can beat anyone, and this would be the sweetest win of all for me.

Any Big 12 or SEC team...any of 'em!! BCS bowl or not. I'd like to see this team up against any of the "top 2 conferences in the country". When they get to the end of the season and have those extra bowl practices to bring Pryor even further along I like our chances against any team in the country.

Come in focused, healthy and with a big ass fucking chip on their shoulder. Bama, Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Texas Tech, Missouri, Okie State, LSU even South Carolina bring 'em on!!!!!

The team I'd most like to meet however...Georgia. If for no other reason than to see Moreno and Beanie do their thing in the same game.

Any available Big XII team. They're all probably way over-rated. They would think they could go up and down the field on us like some other Big Xii team. Hasn't Boise State proven how over-rated the best Big XII teams are?

Alabama's D-line vs. our O-line would be something I would never want to witness. To say that it wouldn't be pretty would be the understatement of the year. The opposite scenario with LSU (our D-line vs. their O-line) would yield similar results. We would have to play at a level way beyond any we have played at to win either of those games. I haven't seen enough of Florida to know how we would fare. On an unrelated note, the SEC championship game will be fun to watch.

I'd like to play Oklahoma, Texas, Texas Tech, or Oklahoma State. I think our offense could match up favorably with their respective defenses.

Virginia Tech would be nice. To the best of my knowledge the Buckeyes have never played them and since I live in the heart of Hokie territory it'd be nice to put a physical butt-kicking on the Hokies

Where abouts?? I use to live in Salem, VA. Right across from Blacksburg

Anyways I think any BCS game would be extremely tough on us. I would not want to play Florida, USC, or Texas Tech. I would like to see Alabama or Texas though and I actually would like Texas just because their fans were great here for two years.

I think most of the teams mentioned in this thread, aside from Georgia, could beat our ass this year. You guys would really want to play Florida, Texas, or Oklahoma? Really..? Why? Honestly, I think a win is more important than a prestigious bowl appearance and loss. I'm just not confident with this year's team.

'Bama does seem a bit overrated, but I still wouldn't want to play them. They have a better offense and a better defense than a Penn State team that beat us. IMO.
