I live in Gainesville, so I get a lot of [censored] from Florida/SEC fans... So the teams I'd like to play would be SEC teams that I think we can beat...
To be honest, I think our team is in an incredibly fragile mental state right now... If we were to get down by 14 or so I think we might give up, get dominated by 30, and the downward spiral we're in against big OOC matchups would get worse. So my teams would be
1) Alabama. Same reasons as yours. They got a ton of credit for massacring Clemson and Georgia, two teams who I thought at the time were WAY overrated. I think I've been proven at least somewhat right (I must be psychic or something, calling that Clemson would be overrated...
). They would give us trouble.. Coffee is damn good... But IMO we would win. If not, it would at least be a great game. And it's a game between two great historic programs. And I absolutely despise Nick Saban, and beating him would give me all the pleasure in the world.
2) LSU. I think it's a possibility if we end up in the Capital One Bowl or something, which hopefully won't happen... But if it does... Revenge for last year would be oh so sweet. And again, I think we can take down LSU easy...
3) South Carolina. They actually might be a little underrated.. I think there's a possibility we play them.. If we do I would absolutely love the opportunity to lay down the whoopin' on Spurrier.. Plus get some other SEC revenge from a little bit ago.
4) Texas. The annoying thing about those home-and-homes is the series doesn't get resolved! We're tied 1-1, I'd like the opportunity to go 2-1 on the decade. They're really good, I think it would be an amazing game.
5) Florida. Florida's so low on this list because the risk of losing is high... To lose to them again would be absolutely awful, I couldn't talk to anyone down here about football ever again without those 2 games being brought up. But a win would be even sweeter. The thing is, their offense is just amazing and it matches up well against us. I can see us missing about a million tackles on Harvin, he's exactly the type of player that gives us fits, and he's as good as you get. And their defense is pretty solid, it'd take a better passer than Pryor to cut them up. However, I give us a pretty good shot, because when it comes down to it, they have not faced a defense as good as ours, nor a back as good as Beanie. Also, look at how well Pryor has been improving... In the time after The Game and before bowl game, who knows how much Pryor will improve? We can beat anyone, and this would be the sweetest win of all for me.
