I was just about ready to post this too.

Any speculation on who the captains will be?

I'd say Hawk for sure, and maybe Salley for the defense.

With Holmes and either Sims or Mangold on offense.

Edit: I thought they picked four... is it just two?

This is my guess as well...Carpenter is definitely a leader of the team (just see the way he is on the field/huddle and sidelines...) but I'd doubt 2 linebackers make the cut. And there is certainly nothing lacking in Salley's leadership skills AKAIK

I thought they were voted by the team? I would assume JT and other coaches have veto power, but is it really his choice to go with the seniors?

I think Mangold is picked on offense, and Hawk on defense. If they want more, then I'd guess Salley and maybe Sims.

I picked Holmes on O cause it seems like it would make sense to mix up the captains a little bit.

Hawk representing the front seven on D and Salley for the DB's.

With either Mangold or Sims for the big boys on O and Holmes for the fast boys.
