Ballard in my opinion is one of those kids who is very versatile and really hasn't found that position that he can get into a groove in....he is the typical prospect that has a pretty good junior with good physical numbers and then...BOOM!....he explodes in his senior year.....mark my words....

Great get by the staff.

JT and his staff do not throw offers around loosely like most schools including UM... which results in the players feeling much more special.

it could be that michigan really liked him and tried to jump on him fast to have any legit chance.

or, it could be that ttun tried to force osu's hand on the issue.

i'm guessing osu knew they were going to offer him at camp regardless.

From the Michigan State site...Jake was excited about the offer from Ohio State. He still plans to camp at OSU, Michigan, Louisville and Iowa. OSU, Michigan and Michigan State are his favorites. He would prefer to play TE in college.
