TE Aramis "A.J." Alexander (Transfer to Slippery Rock)

Just watched this kids' highlights and we got a good one here. Extremely physical and has good speed. He could be a weapon out wide or at the Hback position because his strength and power is some of the better I've seen for a supposed skill player

Dang he is a physical guy, both blocking and after the catch. Exactly what OSU is looking for at the TE/WR spot. He makes great hits on D, but I assume he'll outgrow the positions he'd play there and can really be used at TE more with the lack of depth.

He reminds me a bit of Thomas if they decide to keep him at WR.

A good bit thicker though already than Thomas and probably a bit more physical. Thomas is a beast too but much more in the Michael Jenkins mold IMO but pretty good comparison. We need these bigger WR's though because we have enough guys 6' 195-200 pounds for the next like 10 years.

Man, is he versatile. I could legitly see him playing about 4 different positions at the next level, but the staff has this one right. He could be a super mismatch as a TE/Hback with his size and skill set. If that doesn't work out though, he could make a mean blocking WR or OLB.

For sure, AJ will be a special teams demon early as a blocker, tackler, OR ball-handler. Does a little bit of everything really well.

I like him as a mismatch in the middle of the field. He could be used the way the Pats use Gronk(though we may not need him nearly as much with all of our skill position players) or e Broncos use Julius Thomas. He has too much athleticism to not keep on offense. He'd be a QB's best friend. Mariotti can get him around 240-250 and he'd be a defenses nightmare

Exactly. AJ's a big-time sleeper in this class.
