Tampa Bay Bucs Fire Jon Gruden, Bruce Allen

I can believe that. It sucks that he had to be an asshole to you and apparently everyone else, I was just making a point that he was not the complete garbage coach that you mentioned. Now, you deal with him alot and see what a douche he is so I can't say anything about that.

I still think it was a bit extreme giving up what they did to get him. I'm sure losing 2 firsts and 2 seconds could not have helped the lasr 6 or 7 years.

On a good note, the Raiders finally won a game in week 16. They've completely sucked since Gruden left. More importantly I shoud say they've never been the same since Gannon left.

the draft picks and $8 million they gave the Radiers was a ridiculous gamble... it just didn't pay off for the Bucs.

I think Gruden could be a great coach if he just swallowed his pride a little bit and realize that his playbook isn't getting the job done. The guy lives and breaths football... but he's just all ego and that was his downfall.

I heard a Jeff Garcia interview where he was talking about the Offense and he said they would call plays that had all kinds of movement and shifts before the ball was snapped and he would look across the line and defenses would never react to the movements... he wasn't fooling anyone.

I just saw Jon Gruden on TV. Looks like hes covering college ball now too. I'm not sure he'll ever coach again. Not only is he a natural, but he seems to honestly enjoy himself, far more than I ever saw when he was coaching.

It sounded like he was one of the Urban Meyer type coaches that only got 2 hours of sleep and lived in the office. I bet the pay is almost as good in his current gig w/o the stress of coaching or getting fired for having a bad season.
