Ever gone to Chili's with a big group, only to order water and the unlimited $1.79 tortilla chips and salsa? It's a cheap meal for college kids.

Ever see the people that go to the buffet with a newspaper, eat a huge lunch, sit around reading the paper, then get back up a few hours later for dinner?

I once was using an outhouse and accidentally dropped a $1 bill down the hole. So then I dropped a $20 bill in there on purpose before reaching down into the pile of shit to pick up both bills.

I wasn't cheap enough to reach down there for a dollar, but for 20 bucks it's a different story.

We used to go to a Mexican type joint like Chi's Chi's on either Morse Rd or 161 on Thursday to buy one drink and eat all the free appetizers. I took real talent to nurse one drink for 2-2 1/2 hours for 4 college students. Amazing the waitresses never caught on. We were there every Thursday for 2 years.

In another example I had a friend who worked at a bank on High Street in the early-mid 80's. He figured out that the bank we both worked at did not have a "real-time" connection with their ATM's. It took 3 days for the bank to reconcile the ATM deposits and withdrawls. So he and I admit me too would go to the ATM take out our daily maximum of $100, then turn around and deposit into our account. We always had an extra $300 of float in our account. We made an extra $10-20 of interest every year. We did this for about 2 years before the bank switched to "real time" processing.
