Unfortunately the Heisman is essentially a team award anymore... if your team doesn't make a BCS bowl a player essentially has no chance to win the award, no matter how deserving they are.

What's really sad is that a late Rutgers FG is the only thing that prevented Louisville from playing in Glendale last January.

dang, now that i think about it, that really makes me mad... and to think that i was rooting for Rutgers last year... the implications... f*@&$...

Louisville scored with just under a minute to go, but their onside kick only went about 4 yards. Syracuse just needs to fall on the ball a couple times to win.

eEdit - It's a final. Louisville had the 2nd longest home winning streak in the country (20 games). USC has the longest.
