Sylvania Silverstar Light Bulbs Crap!

I tried the Sylvania Silverstars as replacement bulbs in my Toyota and although they look great and make a lot of light, they are crap! The first one lasted less then six months! And the second lasted eight months!
At $20 a pop this is a poor replacement for OEM. Have gone to GE bulbs at $10 each and hope for far better reliability.
Bottom line.......don't waste your money on them! Just about anything else would last longer!

The pot seeds wedged in the electrical connections when you replaced them probably had something to do with the reliability...

This is even bad for a Taos fail.

Sylvania can't even make a 60-watt lightbulb for shit. Lowes always has those massive floor-to-ceiling stacks of Sylvania bulbs in discount/contractor packs and those are hands down the worst lightbulbs I've ever used.

I would never buy Sylvania bulbs for my car.

Come to think of it, I'd just as soon avoid anything with the word "Sylvania" on it completely.

I'll stick with GE.
