The current games being played on SNES by me:

Final Fantasy II (beaten this game so many times... it's starting to get boring. At least it took 18 years and about 7 times through :)).
Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen
Zombies ate my Neighbors
Breath of Fire II

I bought a SNES back in the early 90s when my niece and nephew hung around the house alot and my sister wouldn't buy them one. I still have it although it's been sitting in my spare room for awhile.

Definitely liked the Bill Laimbeer combat hoops but also liked Super Soccer - if only they would let you punch guys in real soccer - and Madden 93. I remember gaining 1000 yards rushing in one game with the immortal LeShon Johnson. He had a huge speed rating and if you ran the pitch out just right the defense would never get you - to the house every time.

Turn that shit on. It will absolutely work. Yet my Microsoft Xbox 360 will imploded in two years.

Always had a Sega Genesis, not an SNES, but my cousins owned one and I played there quite a bit. Favorite game was Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball, Super Mario World, and of course...

Final Fantasy II is my favorite game pretty much ever. Most people seem to prefer that one, III, or VII.

Breath of Fire II is an excellent game, its kinda different and not a traditional RPG. Thats gonna be another hard one to pickup I think, might wanna download that one too. That one will rack up the hours though.

As far as the Combat Basketball...its got nothing on NES's Base Wars. Best baseball game ever, this video shows a few of the fights:
