17-0 and a Super Bowl win trumps 18-1.

How Sore Of A Loser Is Bill Belichick?

That was pretty poor form on his part.
OK - my MVP votes
1 - The entire Giants D.
2 - of the D - Justin Tuck
3 - Unsung hero - David Tyree.
4 - Eli manning
In that order.
Special mention for Plaxico Burress for coming within one digit of the final score.
He called 24-17
the Giants got 17-14.
This was one of those great Super Bowls - the type that really keeps you on the edge of that sofa or other seat, or on your feet, for the entire game.
To anyone who complains about the low score - nonsense. This is what great games should be about. Toughness, great Defense coupled with the scent of an upset. History in the balance and history made one way or the other.
No 19-0 for the Patriots. Instead we have back-to-back wins for QBs who are brothers.
Instead we have the first NFC win since 2003 and only the second this century.
This was a great game, a great upset and hugely enjoyable for me - a neutral fan.
