I wouldn't go that far. If he didn't put it together in the first half (especially after Hester's return), they don't win. Nobody else was a clear MVP, so you give it to the leader. A big chunk of Rhodes yards came in garbage time.

Manning won because he played QB on the winning team and the media wants to have sex with him. He did nothing to stand out in this game.

Someone would have had to play a lot better if the Bears had won the game, because they weren't even close

In that case they must have thought Unitas was back out there in the Colts garb, because Rex is that bad and worse. John Navarre could have done better than that.
