Awesome band to go see in the summer, especially if you go somewhere with lawn seats so that you can spread out and hang with friends for the show.

Lynyrd Skynyrd in Ohio with my 18 year old son.
One of the three C cities in Ohio.
He can't wait and neither can I.
Damn plane crashes.......It would have been fantastic for the originals. But the new Skynyrd is not bad.
By the way I have rediscovered Southern Rock. Molly Hatchet and Skynryrd and many others.

Wilco was good - like always. I was pleased to see Heartless Bastards opening for them.
Ted Leo + Rx and Titus Andronicus are up tonight, but I'm gonna wuss out on that. I'm on crutches right now and don't really feel like standing on one leg for three hours again yet. It'll give me an excuse to go to an out-of-town show when I'm able to walk again.
The DMB show would be totally worth it if they turned over their entire set to The Hold Steady.

Saw the Dead Weather tonight and the freakin rocked 
The opening act, The Screaming Females, was pretty good as well. That girl can rip it on guitar.
My ears are still in pain from this show. It was a great time.

I went to the Elton John and Billy Joel concert. It was sweet when Billy Joels band interrupted one of their songs to play 'Hang On Sloopy' and the crowd fired back with O-H-I-O.
