If this is sarcasm, I'm curious why picked my post out of the last few.

The interesting part is that you thought they were awesome when, in reality, they really kinda suck. :p

not at all. just never saw them live and i thought that would be an interesting concert to attend.....

 Sorry.

They're a great live band. Definitely recommend seeing them. If you're familiar with their music, they played Demon of the Fall as the encore. It was awesome.

I've seen them live... 14 times :) I rarely miss them when they come through Chicago. Last time I saw them was with Opeth, Three, and Between the Buried and Me. What an amazing show that was. I was a passing fan of Opeth until that night and had honestly never heard of 3, now they're two of my favorites.

I, however, have yet to really see Pain of Salvation. I was at their last show in the US before Daniel Gildenlow put his ban on America (long story, his reasons were fair if not a bit crazy). Still, it was a festival and I wasn't REALLY into them yet. Saw them do a few songs but wandered off to see some shit band I can't even remember now :( I have grown to REALLY love most of their work, so I'm pretty pumped. Also, Zappa plays Zappa is really good and from what I've heard of Beardfish they're very enjoyable.

I went to my 4th Wilco show several weeks back at OU. Probably the best one I've seen so far. I'm seeing them again in Cincy on their last stop before Bonnaroo.

Then the following Monday I'll be seeing Ted Leo + Pharmacists w/ Titus Andronicus at Southgate House in Covington.

That'll probably be the extent of my concert-going for the year.

Ted Leo brings it...that will be a good show. I saw them at one of the last shows at Little Brother's before they shut down.
