What was his setlist like?
He jammed out for about 3 hours on the Friday night show...some of the regulars said it was longer than they normally play the first night. Second night featured a kickass set for his "encore." Though the show ended about 15 or 20 minutes earlier than the previous night...as far as I remember .

Crush, Crash Into Me, #41, Grace is Gone, Everyday, Gravedigger (great saturday night encore), Too Much, Ants Marching, Two Step, Grey Street...this is all over 2 nights. Is he playing twice? Not sure what his one night setlist is like, though I'm sure it includes all of the more popular songs.

Ended the Saturday night show with Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin/ For letting me be myself again)...really cool.

found a site that lists all his setlists (including the Indy shows). Dave Matthews Band - On the Road

Those songs you listed are usually part of his 1 night stops including some of his newer stuff and also replacing a few of his older stuff with songs off his newer cds.

I went to Blossom's show 2 summers ago (The summer after the CD Stand Up was released) and he did an encore starting with American Baby Intro into Two Step. It was about a 20 minute encore and was AMAZING!!!

We went and saw Dropkick Murphys, Mighty Mighty Bostones and the Vandals last weekend at the Fair.

I live right across the street from the fair and I am a firm believer that they should be giving me free tickets to everything and having the cutest female carnie there come over and suck me off every morning for the parking issue I have to deal with outside my house for the month. Seriously, I can't have company over, not that I really like anyone enough to have them over, but if I did, I should be able to have a place for them to park.

We get washed up 80's bands, American Idol rejects and country music at our fairs

We get those during week days, during the weekends we tend to get some pretty good bands here. TBH, it wasn't very much fun seeing punk bands with assigned seats, I like to slam around and knock people down and that wasn't happening.

At least you get a band worth seeing at a fair. I'd never go to a fair here.

Gonna try to make it to Lollapalooza in early August for the third year in a row. This year looks pretty good with Radiohead, NIN, Rage Against The Machine, Kayne West, Wilco, The Raconteurs headlining among others. Love the atmosphere there...it's in Grant Park, downtown Chicago right on the lake.

Won a free trip out to Chicago this weekend for Lollapalooza from CD101...free roundtrip airfare, hotel, and 3-day festival pass! Wooo!

Anyone else headed out?

Also, My Morning Jacket announced a show in Columbus in October in case anyone's interested...

Should be a good time. Chicago is a great setting for Lolla. Thanks for the heads up on MMJ. I wanted to go to Louisville to see them, but had to go elsewhere.
