Just saw them...be ready for a contact high...lol. Very young and well-intoxicated crowd. They did "Kids" last and actually played a lot more mellow tracks than I expected for a concert set.

The concert was really good. The encore was Kids, then they played Congratulations last. The "Kids" performance was probably the most fun I've had at a concert, the LC was sold out outside and everyone was going crazy.

I'm fresh off of contact buzz from Dave Matthews Band last night. Great Show! Encore was All Along the Watchtower....it was fucking awesome.

Got to see the Scorpions last night in Tampa, with Ratt in tow. One heck of a concert, and being surrounded by drunk people (I was by myself, an hour long drive, definitely wasn't going to drink) an average of twice my age made for some funny and interesting moments. Kottack is crazy, but man, can he bang on those drums. The whole group was still rockin like they didn't know their age, which was great. Ratt sufficed as the opener, but the house mix was a little off. Needless to say, everyone was standing and going nuts for both Round and Round and No One Like You/Rock You Like A Hurricane. Hopefully I'll be seeing Aerosmith there in a few weeks as well, with Rush in October.

Saw Passion Pit, Tokyo Police Club & BRAHMS a couple weeks back. Great date concert...lots of fun w/the lady half. Going to see Andrew Belle this Sunday who is like a better, more bluesy John Mayer and then Crystal Castles for an absolute disasterfest in August. I expect to have a bottle crushed on my face at that one.

Tom Petty will be at Blossom Tuesday night. I got 12 tickets well in advance for me and my crew. We're getting shitty ass drunk all day Tuesday. My buddy lives like 10mins from Blossom so we're gonna start drinking there in the afternoon and then relocate to the parking lot when possible.

Anyone else going?

Seats?? They should call them "stands" instead.

haha whatever you know what I mean :)

Also, it looks like it's going to be a rainy night here for TP tonight. Our crew of 12 is getting ready to meet up now to start the festivities!

I, for one, don't mind the rain at an outdoor concert such as Tom Petty. Just means when I fall down stumbling drunk I can blame it on the wet grass!

fuck. i'm hearing Tom Petty is postponed tonight in Cleveland. I know that Campbell passed out Sunday night in St. Louis of heat exhaustion/dehydration but they said he was okay. Guess he's in the hospital now. Trying to confirm.
