Game Thread Sugar Bowl: tOSU vs Arkansas, Tue, Jan 4th, 8:30 ET ESPN

I agree, it would be a shame if either of our QBs weren't able to perform 100%. Will Arkansas' occasionally suspect defense be able to control the freak of a dual-threat that Pryor is, and will Pryor and the tOSU offense be able to stand toe to toe with one of the most prolific offenses in the country. This has all the makings of a classic.

It's a very good matchup - I'm not too worried about Pryor standing toe-to-toe with Arkansas offense. I don't think he's playing both ways.

You guys have a very good offense, we have a very good defense but we are banged up in the secondary.

You guys have an decent defense, we have a pretty good offense and Pryor should be healthy.

Sounds like both of our special teams are pretty suspect.

The more I think about this game, the more I like the matchup. Not in the sense that we'll roll - but more so - it should be a helluva game.

I just don't see you guys running on us, and I feel that will allow us to cheat a bit and play towards the pass.

As it is with everygame, it will be won & lost up front.

Remember your place bub.. you go 10-2 and decide to get on a forum that represents a school thats been to 9 BCS bowls. You have a 10-2 season.. We have 6 stright 10 win seasons.. so have fun in your one bcs bowl game and keep it classy on here..

2. I get on every team's board that we are playing in our next game(I'll ignore the obvious trolling train you stepped in front of when bringing up your 9 BCS games....)
3.We play in the SEC. Not trying to start anything but if you want to compare the teams we play every year to the teams on your schedule we can do that.
4. You act like going 10-2 is a bad thing. We lost to #1 Alabama the defending national champions who were riding a long unbeaten streak, and we also lost to current #1 and more than likely this years national champion. When was the last time Ohio State did that?

Here is my take boys...

I've been patient. Anyone who knows the history around here will attest to that.

We've given the trolling enough chances...I think some understand and are actually willing to adapt. However, some of you are about to leave...that is for a few Buckeye fans and a few Razorback fans.

This game is too good of a matchup to tarnish with your stupidity....clean it up or you are gone.

Uh, well other than Purdue and USC last year, all of our losses came to teams that participated in BCS bowls since '04.

You honestly have no idea how refreshing it is to hear other programs complain about their Special Teams. There have been games this season where it would have been better for us to just kick it out of bounds every time than attempt an actual kick off...LSU for example. John L. Smith better get the boys together come game time or he will(should) be looking for a new job for next season.

Our kickoff coverage is sketchy. Sounds like your punt return might be sketchy? Joe Adams is electric for us on special teams. But I'm sure you guys have some electric players on ST also.

I wouldn't worry too much about your kickoff coverage. Ever since Dennis Johnson went down(he won't be back for the bowl game) we haven't had a great return game. Lance Ray has been getting better, but he still usually only gets us out to the 20-25. If your coverage is worse than average, we may actually get to the 30! :tongue2:

I'm in about the same boat as you.

The team we played that is closest to what I think the Buckeyes will look like is Mississippi State - although you guys have better talent pretty much across the board.

We needed 2 OTs to escape Starkville with a win.
