The SEC chant is just stupid, from our perspective.

When team A loses to team B, team A has a stake to everything team B does because they helped them get to a higher level, especially when every team within the conference could win the national championship if they played somewhere else.

Duh.

OK, seriously, what is it about the SEC! SEC! SEC! chant grinds on y'all so bad?
The coat-tail riding. Tennessee, Ole Miss & Vandy didn't achieve a thing, yet if OSU loses, their fanbases will all swing by to celebrate THEIR bcs win, just like they did after LSU (almost no LSU trolls versus dozens from those fanbases).

Where was the SEC chant before 06? You had plenty of success before USC stepped down from the frequently replaced role of "dynasty", yet rather than cheer for their squad or use their team's favorite chant, they opted for remedial spelling to taunt the rest of america.

I mean, I respect conference pride to some degree. It's why this past weekend sucked ... but, at the same time, watching Michigan get pole axed is fuckin funny. I don't really care if MSU wins against Bama... I don't care if they lose. It doesn't mean anything about the team I DO care about - Ohio State.

That said, again, I 'get' conference pride. I just think the SEC goes too far, really. You'll never see me chanting "BIG 10" if Penn State wins some game somewhere. It's just dumb.

Nothing will. But it might make me feel better since I can't drop by his house and leave a burning bag of shit on his doorstep.

Only ones with the power to shut him up are our Buckeyes. Period.
Dude, the Buckeyes didn't shut him up when they won the NC against a two TD favorite. He's not worth the effort.

I know. You're right. A little too amped up. I'll have to live with the best thing about censorship in the history of this great nation. The Mark May filter.

well, that and a Buckeye Win tonight!!!

When you set them up like this, I am duty bound to knock them down.
