Sugar Bowl: #3 Ohio State 49, #2 Clemson 28, Jan 1 in New Orleans

OSU lost their left guard on the first possession of the 2016 game

the one they lost 31-0

Harry Miller out is not nearly as big a deal as that, but it’s big enough

Edit: unless there’s something wrong with my browser, it looks like this may be the first news on Miller posted in this thread. I did not expect that to be the case

In Charlotte visiting family for the week. Plenty of drink all week so taking it a bit easy for now. I’m pretty sure I drank a handle of tequila with them last year when watching the game so I’m pacing myself.

Being in Charlotte I did take a spin back through the Strass-man thread over the last day and a half. Good times. Wonder if he’s throwing a watch party behind bars.

Hope everyone had a great ringing in of the new year.

I see you chosen positivity. Well done, now bitch up!

I feel horrible saying this because next year he will probably be an all American at center...

BUT... let's be honest he's the 1 starter on offense we would've been okay losing. His tendency to take penalties etc have killed us and again that's not saying I'm glad but only that if there was a player to lose he was it.

He's definitely the most replaceable OL. I think he's gotten a lot of fair criticism, but it's also been a lot easier to focus on him since he's playing with OSU's best guard in recent memory and 3 other guys who are either all american or all conference level players.

Agree that he takes a Taylor Decker jump in his last 2 years. Hopefully he wins B2B Rimingtons to make us all feel like assholes.

For this game though where holdings will kill us it may not be such a bad thing. We have boat loads of depth on the OL.

Don’t have a lot of thoughts on the game. Very tempered expectations but that won’t stop me from screaming at the TV for the Bucks.

I badly want Ryan Day to bury Dabo at midfield, but I’m not sure this is the year. He’ll meet his maker some day.

I think it’ll take some kind of magical performance to get it done. But magical perfomances have happened in sports before and they’ll happen again. Maybe even tonight. Go Bucks!

It's really not a big deal though... if we are being honest Harry is without doubt our 5th best lineman who has an uncanny ability to take penalties. I love Harry's potential but him being out doesnt set us back.

Would rather have him than not have him but I’m certainly more worried about potentially being down a couple DEs. Depth (fatigue) could be a big issue at the end position.
