Sugar Bowl: #3 Ohio State 49, #2 Clemson 28, Jan 1 in New Orleans

Somebody spotted Chris Olave in the picture.....

This is massive....I was concerned he’d be cleared to play in game, but wouldn’t be able to participate in practices.

It’s critical Olave is part of the practices leading up to this game, bc there will be very specific set plays that Day installs, that’d be insanely difficult to execute without proper practice time.

It’s significant he’s cleared this soon to be at practice.

And I can’t state it enough.....Wilson in the slot is lethal and so hard to cover. Jameson isn’t the best route runner but takes the top off, so even if he isn’t involved much in passing game, he serves a purpose. Olave being at practice makes the trips WR set so lethal and hard to prepare for.

Speaking of that, remember when a handful of Clemson players randomly tested positive for ostarine?

There’s a robust PED testing program in place pre-playoff this year, right?
The Director of their strength and conditioning program was my strength coach in college. He had roid rages regularly in the weight room. He was an A-1 asshat obsessed with weights. He entered numerous body building contests for "clean" contestants and he was doing roids the whole damn time.

Welcome!! Feel free to jump into the convo...

Maybe share your opinions on yours teams strengths and weaknesses?
First I want to say I love the build up to this game it is going to be INCREDIBLY intense.

Trevor is playing better than ever but its a different passing offense mainly throwing to the slot, TE and RBs as opposed to the Higgins/Ross or Bryant/Watkins offenses that you've seen before. We mostly throw between the hashmarks or to the flats.

Although with a healthy Frank Ladson and emerging freshman EJ Williams (80 yards in the ACC Championship) who knows? We could see Trevor throw outside more than he has all year.

I just hope there are no stupid targeting penalties called on either side. Its a god awful rule that is slowly but surely ruining football for no good reason since 99% of the time they are unavoidable plays that are fundamental to the game since its inception. Even the name targeting is devoid of any realism.

Sorry for the rant

Rants on the targeting rule aren’t a problem here. How do you feel about the replay system? :sneaky:

That was surprisingly evident to me as I watched some games of yours. Seems like you all go a little more east/west this year.

Anywhere you think the Tigers aren't as good?
