it depends on how you look at it honestly. cops have to deal with frivolous suits all the time. she could have been trying to get some media attention to the issues law enforcement face on a daily basis. not saying she was, just that there may have been a "semi" intelligent reason for all this. regardless, it was ill advised regardless of her intentions.

You may have a point, but she picked a pretty lousy couple to be the defendants. Couldn't she have stumbled on a cracked driveway on her way to a false alarm?

absolutely, she would have been much better served sueing someone with a 5 mile rap sheet who was resisting arrest or something. noway on earth could she ever hope to win the sympathy vote on this one. my guess is its something that has been eating at her for some time and the first instance in which she had to fight back she took regardless of how foolish her case really was.

of course this theory falls well into "wag" territory.
