A New Mexico hero. I fear the worse. :(
He has escaped death several times.
Not a native New Mexican, but well loved in the New Mexican ballooning community and New Mexico.

Uh oh, looks like they found the remains of his plane. No sign of him. They reckon the critters ate all the evidence. The New Mexico ballooning community will never be the same.
