OK, you've convinced me.DaddyBigBucks;1777373; said:It's about coaches, not programs
My favorite example: Tressel's teams immediately forgot scUM's dominance and established dominance of their own.
So even though Harbaugh lost in South Bend back in '08, that was when his own recruits were sophomores at best. With a full complement of his own signees, he won't be any more intimidated by the Leprechaun than he is by Traveler.
As I stated previously, the multi-time-zone travel normally spells doom. I may be wrong, but I suspect that this Stanford squad is too strong to succumb to that trend. Cardinal over the domers big.

i meant it to mean that he doesn't want to look bad by losing three in a row in his first year. he especially doesn't want to lose three close games in a row and earn the stigma of a guy who can't coach or make adjustments in crunch time.Buckeyeskickbuttocks;1777634; said:Please name a coach who does want to lose 3 in a row.

wow, way to be one dimensional. you don't think at all that it would look terrible for a new coach who promised big things to lose three games in a row against rivals? you can also put the blame of their losses on him, especially against michigan. he doesn't want to reason they lost three in a row.Buckeyeskickbuttocks;1777704; said:Name a coach who would?
