That's OK. At the end of the year when the poor slow unworth Ohio State Buckeyes are smacking a team from Florida in the mouth in the BCS championship game, Trojan fans will once again be comforted in knowing that "at the end of the year they're playing better ball than anyone".

Contrast that last pick with what Mr. Leinart did in South Bend against 2005.

Leinart would have made the right play, ditto for Carson Palmer.

BTW, I also said that the losses of Steve Smith and Dwayne Jarrett would haunt USC.

Watched quite a bit of this game...USC just plain got punked out. They gave up a 4th and 20 and a 4th and goal from the 10 on the last drive, and Booty looked like Anthony Morelli out there for most of the 2nd half. Incredible upset, and I'm glad I got to watch it, but this USC team is nowhere near the calibur of even the 2002 team they had.

I thought Jim Harbaugh was persona non grata among scUM fans? There's already scUM fans (notably, Desmond Howard on ESPN) hanging their hat on the fact that Jim Harbaugh is a "M*ch*g*n Man" (whatever the fuck that means).

They're also trying to argue that this game somehow absolves M*ch*g*n for losing to Appalachian State and the rest of their sorry-ass season. Sorry, but you don't get a pass for that - at least not as long as myself and other like-minded people are around to remind Skunkbear fans just how BAD that was.

JDB is total fraud. John David Berlin. Evangelic Prep QBs are pure garbage. This is now the greatest upset in terms of a point spread in college football history. USC has 10 tailbacks that are former high school all americans but not one of them can takeover the starting job and get 100 yards on Stanford.

If point spreads are how you choose to measure it, I guess so. Despite how bad they've sucked over the last few years, Stanford is a much higher profile program than App State. In ten years, nobody is going to remember that USC lost to Stanford outside of the people that associate with those two programs. People are gonna remember scUM losing to App. State forever.
