Spring Football - 2005 (mega-merge)

Couple of thoughts on Ginn:

1) They said all last fall that they hadn't timed him
2) He might not have the fastest first step, but his ability to maintain that speed after 40 yards and when changing directions that makes the difference

Impressive

Even though I could'nt make out all the names I thought it was real impressive how many current Buckeyes are on those lists. The LB's-Hawk,Carpenter,Schlegal-even back-up's-Freeman,D'Andrea are all over that board. The D-lineman also are all over those boards.

Man, I love those pics.

1. I also was surpised about no Ginn. He'll be there eventually.
2. Kudla's 555 bench is awesome.
3. We were just talking about Fox's awesome jumping ability yesterday (Whitner at CB thread). Now we learn that no one has ever jumped higher at tOSU.
4. I know I said it before, but it's incredible how all catagories in all weight classes are dominated by Tressel years.

We have Al Johnson to thank for that.

Why in the world are so many names misspelled? Gozales, Wil Smith (one L), Harstsock, Whittner, Gohlston.... it's not for space, obviously, since they can spell out "A. Katzenmoyer" :)

This bothers me only because I spend so much time proofing for typos at work. On a honor board that will last after a player's gone, why not spend the extra ten seconds to get the man's name right? Someone hand me some White-out and a Magic Marker...

T-FIRMLY-IC, of course  *stops nitpicking*

I agree. It's fairly disrespectful.

Which Underwood is that, running a 4.27?
Didn't know that either was that fast.

E.J. is the Underwood. During the same year when Tress said he had more corner talent than any other player at the position, Underwood and Fox would go at it in the 40. He was one of the 2 fastest guys on the team that year.

Hmm...I wonder what Butler B'yno'te's 40 time was? I know I butched the spelling, but look at the guy's name for heaven's sakes. Those boards only go back a few years...so I'm wondering if he would have missed the cutoff. He was INSANELY fast.

Wait, but isn't he the guy that everyone on sucknuts says should be fired??

As for the names, the misspellings make no sense.
I wonder if its done on purpose, some kind of inside joke??
There is no way the players wouldn't have noticed, and no way they would not have said something.
