Spring Football - 2005 (mega-merge)

Well Guys... I just got back and sadly I'm not a very good photographer. I got a picture of the National Championship trophy, the weight room leader boards and a couple of other things but some of them are really blurry. I think the camera I was using is shit.

Alan, I didn't get to see all of the things you talked about. We only got to go through the weight room. There were a couple of players in there but the pictures I took were too blurry to make out what they were. One was Quinn Pitcock (looks like he is getting bigger) and the other was Rob Simms (he is a freaking monster... looked like no body fat). I saw Ashton Youboty, Albert Dukes, Dionte Johnson, and a couple others that I didn't recognize. The speakers were Schlegal, Carpenter, Simms, Schnittker (sp?), Hamby, and one of the Safeties... I can't remember which one though because I was stuffing my face.

Tressel seemed to be in a really good mood. He was making a lot of jokes and messing with the players and staff, particularly our new DB coach. Tressel kept putting him on the spot and making him answer questions about the O-Line and running backs. Most of the time he could only describe players by thier numbers because he doesn't know everyones names yet, it was pretty funny.

All in all I had a really good time and can't wait till the spring game. Thanks again to Spraguezilla for letting me go... That was really cool of him. I am already planning on returning next year but I'll have to take some money with me so I can try to win an auction for some of the memorabilia.

I was also there and got some new pictures, this time of all the boards. It will probably be tomorrow before I get them up, though. Talked to Salley for a minute before lunch started. Also saw Nuge working out as well as a few players I didn't recognize.

I forgot to add that Roy Hall was only mentioned as a receiver today. Despite the rumors that he'd been moved to TE, it appears he staying at WR and apparently doing a fine job.

Uh oh... that's a Cooper move. Especially since there aren't really many 'new' players. :wink2:

I'll make my way over

I've lurked here for a while, mostly reading what all of you gurus have to say while i'm at work. I'm a Junior at tOSU. I'm definitely headed to the spring game and will try to stop by the tailgate if indeed it is set up at the stadium.

It'll be at the Fawcett Center... Stop by any damn way and have a few beers and buy a shirt
