Devin Gardner has joined FOX as a color commentator. He will be partnered with Eric Collins this season.

Would you rather have Gardner, Petros, or Brock Huard?
I actually don’t mind him.
To be fair, I’ve never heard Gardner broadcast before.
I actually don’t mind Huard. In fact I think he’s up there with Klatt and Charles Davis at diagnosing and explaining plays in real time without having to refer to the monitor for a replay.

I have as much respect for Devin Gardner as you can for a player for tsun. Outside of the offer letter burning stunt, I don't recall him running his mouth or being a Twitter warrior. Unlike the guy he followed, he didn't tap out because of some ouchies. I'll never forget the savage beatings he took against sparty in 2013 and 2014 or how he played his heart out against us both years. But most of all, this...
I agree. Good dude, albeit one with execrable judgment.I have as much respect for Devin Gardner as you can for a player for tsun. The big storyline from the top 30 is a heavy SEC presence at nearly every cut line. The league has two of the top four with Georgia and Alabama, four of the top 13 when you add in Kentucky and Ole Miss, seven of the top 21 and a total of eight teams in the top 30 with Auburn the lowest ranked of the group at No. 29. Upcoming conference games like Kentucky and Georgia's SEC East battle in Athens next week -- the SEC on CBS Game of the Week -- are sure to disrupt this dominance a little bit, but it's clear our voters believe strongly in more than half of the conference when compared to the rest of the country.
Not one mention of 5 B1G teams in the Top 10. Weird.

I noticed that also. I didn’t mention it because the 2-loss teams in the B1G are Maryland, Minny, and Purdue. I wouldn’t put any of them in the top-25.Four teams in the AP Top 25 have two losses. Arkansas, Florida, and Texas A&M are three of them. The other is #25 Texas, who nudged out two loss Auburn for the last spot by two votes.
