former OSU players harping on Matt Hayes as well, awesome

It's probably better to ignore him (and others) rather than giving them attention. Probably just inflates their egos and counteracts the 'tactical ignoring' or planned ignoring used with small children.

The worst thing I saw was after that Sugar Bowl win when the Ohio State players actually acknowledge 'Fat Urkel' and his obvious trolling.

Gee slams 'Sports Illustrated,' 'Sporting News' as 'bad journalism'
By Pat Brennan

"'Sporting News,' 'Sports Illustrated,' a lot of them I don?t read. It's bad journalism. And, so, why buy them?"

The "bad journalism" in question was President E. Gordon Gee's assessment of "Sporting News"' April 9 article titled "From champs to chomped: How Urban Meyer broke Florida football," which reported on an "out-of-control" culture left behind by Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer when he departed the University of Florida's program in January 2011. The article also reported wide-spread drug use among his former players.

Who is Matt Hayes and the Sporting News is still around?

People who write their opinions about sports (I refuse to call any of these egotist journalist, since they don't do anything but spout their own opinion as fact) have truly become a sad, pathetic bunch.

Sheridan on Urban Meyer, 'He's not one of the top 25 coaches in the country. Florida was left in ruins. No way in hell he's in the top 25.'

:slappy:

Yeah. Right. He only has won 2 MNCs, has coached a Heisman winner and NCAA record breaker. Has come into each of his last 4 jobs and improved the programs by big steps from the previous year. Currently is in the top 10 of all time winning percentages. Not at all Top 25 material.

Just because UF hired someone who can't seem to coach the same players as well as Meyer doesn't mean Meyer is not Top 25.

But lets be serious...even on his best day he's gonna be no better than 15th...I mean, it's not like he's actually in the SEC still.
