Sparty is expected to lose for a lot of reasons. The team that needs to put the explanation point on yesterday's work is Iowa.

If the Hawkeyes win we're 4-3 overall (at worst), 2-0 in BCS games. Two of the three losses were by 4 total points. That's a solid performance overall, especially in the BCS. It's all about Iowa now.
