Sparty +7.5 vs Texas Tech (ov/un 60.5) ESPN Sat 9 ET, Alamo Bowl

They have yet to acknowledge that James was frequently insubordinate to his coach and refused to follow instructions. Yet it seems as though that's the huge sin they're going after Mike Leach for. Even if they weren't retards with an agenda, their inability to even grasp this cognitive dissonance is astounding. I can't tell if that entire organization is profoundly stupid or absurdly agenda-driven. Or both.

MSU is finally showing some spine on D. They need to get some points on the board, but they're in this.

Ever since Leach got fired I keep hearing people say how great Spike Dykes was. If that's true, how come I never heard of him until this week?

I believe Dykes coached Tech for over 20 years and has the most wins in team history. The fan base turned on him pretty hard at the end. They were putting "Fire Spike" signs in his yard.

September 8, 1991 @ Ohio Stadium

Ohio State 17
Texas Tech 10

John Cooper defeats Spike Dykes, Lubbock native and local hero who was the most successful coach in Tech history...before Mike Leach. :wink2:

There is three/four sides to this story (and every story they cover), the Mike Leach side, the TT administration side, the James gang side, and the ESPN sensational agenda driven side of the story....:(

Now here we go again...covering it adnausem at halftime....

Can't wait to see [strike]TMZ's[/strike] ESPN's take on the "latest developments" in the Leach case at halftime. :roll2:

A Mike Leach hit piece, gee what a surprise!

Could ESPN be any more transparent?

They're lucky they have a cornered market of sports fans, because the terms "journalistic integrity" and "ESPN" are mutually exclusive. :roll1:

For the love of Tebow, I pray that ESPN is touting the SEC for beating a Conference USA team.

Still trying to figure out how a pass can be "right on the money" when the receiver has to slow up for it and adjust.

I wonder what Craig thinks about his sons future. Theres obviously no way he stays at TT, and what coach is going to want a kid who, so far, all we know about him is

1. He whines and doesn't listen to coaches instructions.
2. He thinks he's above the team and his dad will not leave the coach alone
3. He's singlehandedly gotten a good coach fired
4. He looks like a tool

What coach would want to bring that in?

Nevermind, I guess Devin Gardner will have someone to throw to in 2011

Yeah, I looked him up on Wikipedia after I posted that. From '84-'99 he won more than 7 games in a season twice.

SMU
James' alma mater, June Jones' pass-happy offense.
