Can Texas Tech take Sparty out behind the woodshed?

Yeah, I know that if I said there was no pun intended, nobody would believe me. :tongue2:
Is this a pre or post leaching line?
The line was from last week, and had changed little as of this morning, which was before the Leach firing.

If I had known the firing would happen before the game, I think I would have flipped the names on betting line #5.

Maybe ESPN can sign Mike Leach to be an analyst for this one? :wink2:

If they really wanted to boost their ratings, I know who they could assign to the other seat.

On the subject of football programs who have managed to embarrass themselves recently: Any suggestions for an appropriate re-naming of this Bowl? (i.e., The Suspension Saucer? The Gavel Goblet? The Invective Vessel?)

I'll leave the alliteration for Urn, Crock & Tureen to you guys.

Starting CB Rucker
#2 WR Dell
#3 WR Cunningham
Backup DB Jeanrette (I think he played occasionally)
3 benchwarmers

Also RB Winston was their best back, but blew out his knee in October.

There were others who could have been in trouble, apparently.

That leaves Jones, Cousins, White, Baker as the only very good players left imo.

Differential Scoring Composite for these teams:
Sparty - 1.170 (Big 10)
TTech - 1.769 (Big 12)
Add to that the suspensions and Sparty is in big, big trouble.

I expect that the firing of Leach, for this one game, will affect TTech only in terms of motivation. This could be another plunger bowl

Yeah, I didn't like this match up the moment it was announced - almost a set up for a Texas team to win in front of the home folks. Sparty's best hope is that Dantonio comes up with a plan to slow the Raiders offense, and without Leach TT struggles to adjust to it. Of course, even if they have a good plan, does MSU have the players to execute it?

Michigan State isn't 2002 Ohio State, and I don't mean to imply it... but.. Dantonio has shut down TTU before. :wink2:
