Sparty -15.5 at Ind (ov/un 48.5) Sat noon BTN

For the first time I can ever remember, I actually have a small amount of concern going into an Indiana game. Yeah, Sparty is probably flat after their loss to us last week, but still Indiana actually looks like a competent football team. This could be a trap road game coming after a huge home game against Nebraska...

Well this whole season is pretty much an extended exhibition season without postseason so, oh well.

I said this before the season started. It's a night game at Indiana and they'll be pumped. We also have to tackle in space. Yikes.

Once again LeVeon Bell is going to get press for 120 yards rushing, yet people will continue to ignore the fact he carried the ball 37 times vs. a very mediocre defense. 3.3 yards per carry. Bell is very average.

It doesn't help that no one fears their passing game and packs the box, daring them to pass. Everyone wants Maxwell to throw it.

The Sparty OL was getting it handed to them by the IU D-line all day long, until the final couple drives. Bell did a good job with what was available to them.

For the second straight year MSU has a laughably bad run blocking unit. Last year was even more embarrassing given how honest Cousins & his WRs kept the safeties.

Once again the other people ignore what's actually happening and look at the numbers instead.

All season long Bell has had to break 1-3 tackles at the LOS on half of his runs. Today was no different.

Time after time MSU would get to 2nd and 3 only to lose 4 yds as their turnstile OL let a jailbreak through the line.

I also think Bell is pretty overrated he doesn't have the speed to be a big time back.
Because "speed" is such a key attribute for a running back, particularly in the I :roll1:

The guy has good quickness, feet, balance and athleticism. Not everyone has to be DeAnthony Thomas to be effective.
