The odds are locked at 1-1 (or whatever the line says) when you place a vBet, but the payout will be based on the actual line that will be updated in this thread on Monday night or Tuesday morning.

So if you bet on Sparty, and it ends up being Sparty +10.5, you'll win that vBet unless the Buckeyes win by at least 11 points.

I was just answering your question, and I used an example to make it clear.

But if you know how spreads work, then you'd realize that Sparty is not the favorite. And Sparty is not currently "+.5", I listed +??.5 to indicate that the line is currently unknown, but that Sparty will be getting some points when the line is set. Which means they're not the favorite.

This is a big game at this point in the season. The Bucks need to bounce back with a win and not let the disappointment from yesterday fester. Sparty is desperate, or at least they should be given their record.

We'll learn a lot about both teams Tuesday night. Go Bucks! :osu:

All I have to say is I feel REALLY bad for MSU and Tom Izzo, because the Buckeyes will show no remorse against them. Here's to hoping Diebler knocks down 10 3's... And Sully has a 20 pt 20 rebound day! :biggrin:

The opening line in Vegas is 15, which is more than I expected. I'll wait until tonight to see if that line moves down some before I post it in the thread, which at that time will lock it in for purposes of this vBet.

I don't see an over/under yet, anyway.
