So I can blatantly insult the entire state of Michigan--despite the fact I've never set foot in the state--simply because it's next to Ohio, and yet I cannot state actual, sustained, first-hand observations of an area far, far smaller than Michigan (keep in mind I was referring to Gainesville and subsequently the towns nearby) simply because it's not next to Ohio. Tell you what, why don't you define "whole portion of the country" for us?
