Discovered problem with this theory: The road team only has a 64-man travel squad.OCBucksFan;1291113; said:42.5? I gotta go against it, USC will win, but I don't think PC is going to do that to another Pac-10 team.
The Pac-10 only allows 64 to travel to away games or are we just talking about USC here. I am pretty sure that the Big 10 allows more than that or maybe I am just thinking about guys allowed on scholarship. In any event, I would think that the gentleman that Petey is that have held the score down a little against a member of his own conference. Does not speak volumes for the conference when a score is run up like that.Dryden;1299214; said:Discovered problem with this theory: The road team only has a 64-man travel squad.
Southern Cal couldn't call off the dogs, because there was no bench to empty.
I read that this is a Pac-10 rule.LitlBuck;1299234; said:The Pac-10 only allows 64 to travel to away games or are we just talking about USC here. The above three items were very nice of the Trojans go why did they even throw the ball once during the game and why did not Sanchez rest his bad knee the entire game.methomps;1299249; said:Top 10 signs USC didn't run up the score against Wazzu | All Things Trojan | Los Angeles Times
-With the ball in the redzone, USC ran out the clock to end the half. The first half.
-Starting quarterback Mark Sanchez stopped throwing the ball with 32 minutes left in the game (translation: first half). He was left in for the first series of the second half, evidently to practice his handoffs and didn't even throw on 3rd-and-19. His day ended three minutes after the second half kickoff
-Mitch Mustain, USC's #2 quarterback, was only allowed to throw the ball once. It was the only passing attempt of the second half.
-After Mustain, Pete Carroll put in Aaron Corp and later Garrett Green -- apparently with firm instructions that they would have to find their own ride home if they attempted a forward pass.
