Whoever starts at qb for 'SC...they'll be ready. That you can bank on.

Completely disagree. I don't care who you are, starting a frosh QB is always a little risky. We saw it last year not only with the continued battle of learning the game of college football, but also the issues in the huddle/practice and what not. The QB is the leader of the offense, which is dominated by seniors and juniors. Freshman leader is always risky. That's my take on it at least. Although I wish the best to Corp and hope he makes a strong recovery, Matt Barkley starting this game is good for us.

Whoever ends up starting Corp, Barkley or Mustain better be ready. Remember that the very talented and experienced Vince Young had a tough time squeezing out a win in a similar situation back in 2005. This time Ohio State will not have a QB controversy. This time our opponent starts a QB who has either never started or not started in several years. Yes, I like Ohio State's odds in this one. I am far from confident of a win, but I think Ohio State has the edge here.

i agree that recent usc history says that barkley is going to be the next in the long line of consecutive successful quarterbacks at usc.

however, recent college football history says that pro style quarterbacks don't play well as true freshman. yes, there have been recent true frosh who have been successful, but they always tend to be on teams that let the quarterback run the ball 75% of the time.

I just wanted to share that I have to be in Iowa helping my wife empty out a storage locker on Saturday, the 12th. Hopefully I'll get to see the game, but it's not looking promising.

I hate life.

I'm seeing an accidental lock in of the wife followed by a frantic 31/2 to 4 hr search for the key. OSU wins and you really won't care how pissed off she is. OSU loses and you really won't care how pissed off she is. Just make sure its well ventilated.

Depends on how pissed off you think she's going to be if you let her out.

If the bitching gets past the point of diminishing returns, where it might spoil a possible victory, then that's an option you have to consider.

Good for you man. I liked the Bucks before I started taking class but I wasn't really that into it before that. In fact my sister pretty much made me buy season tickets my Soph year. I was hooked after my first game. My first gameday experience was a lot of too. Booing Desmond Howard will never get old.
