Yeah, being proven wrong for his remarks has certainly shut him up before.... :shake: Just like OSU beating Miami shut Mark May up...

Let me guess, this time - if OSU wins - it'll be different....

Wasn't it Trev Alberts that bad mouthed us so bad on ESPN before we beat Miami?? I didn't think it was Mark May back then.

I haven't watched ESPN outside of a game since the pre-game for the 2007 NCG against LSU, and I don't plan on breaking that streak anytime this week.

Haha I feel you but herbstreet had a good point today. He said the main things is osu's coaches need to coach and play to win and not worrying about making mistakes.

To be sure, Trev played his role too. (I sometimes wonder if Trev "wised up" and decided he didn't want to play his "role" anymore at the expense of his credibility and that's why he walked out of Bristol, because honestly - I saw him change after the 02 season a little bit.. he was much less "overstatement" though still too "iowa" for my taste) But, it was Mark May who said, after OSU beat Purdue "The Buckeyes dont' even deserve to be ranked" and who predicted "They won't be within 2 TDs of the Hurricanes"

not to get off topic but is it a bad thing to spill goulash over a large section of your keyboard? If so, which type of goulash is the worst to spill.
Finally what type of goulash do the Buckeyes like best? And SC's?

Not that it'll shut him up...I just hope that he has to do his talking through a mouthful of crow...that's all.

It will never be different. Let em hate us.

Go Bucks!

Because your remark in Bold is true, the former remark about crow is irrelevant. It's what he does, and he has no issue with being wrong... people watch his schtick because they think he cares about eating crow... he doesn't... it gets him ratings. Jim Rome may be a lot of things, but concerned about his credibility isn't among them. He's made a career out of being the guy who pisses you off.

The two things that give me hope is that its in the Shoe and if we keep the crowd into the game that can make a difference

And

Tress and the staff seem to do their best job in this type of game (ie people not believing they can win) It's not just Miami in the MNC game, there was Texas last year (one drive away from an upset) and Penn State in Happy Valley at night two years ago.

Just sayin
