After Pitt went down to Ohio U I asked what people thought if the BE champ was unranked. At the time UL was ranked and I had completely forgotten about them.

Fast foreward to tonights humiliating loss by UL and I'll ask it again. How fucking all-time pathetic is it that a BE team will win the championship and get an auto BCS bid and be unranked?

The BCS should just do the right thing and give it to a deserving at large team. The BE is the worst football conference ever assembled.

I would love to see South Florida win the Big East and play in a BCS Bowl. How embarrassing would that be for the BCS? The Big East? What a joke!

I agree Jax, except that I think that West Virginia (coming off that 85 Chicago Bears-like 20-15 win over hapless East Carolina) can probably win at least 6 more games, and will end up being ranked.

The conference is worse than the WAC.

Wait, what??? BULLCRAP! I mean, Mike Leach has won, what, 8 National Titles, right? Adn Hawaii has won 7 BCS Bowl games, and...

You mean they haven't??????? BUT THEY SCORE SO MANY POINTS!!!!!!

There isn't a single team there that can beat West Virginia...but someone will anyway. Honestly, if the Big Crap gets an auto bid, the Mountain West and WAC and C-USA all should, because there are at least 6 teams in that Big Crap conference that couldn't win any of those other conferences either.

My thoughts this week were that USF would have a shot because they definitely have the horses to hang with absolutely anybody. Being a decent sized school in FL you're definitely going to catch some skill-position runoff, especially if you have no real admission requirements like Louisville, West Va or Marshall. I was hoping for a close game at least, but the results are unprecedented in my mind.

Needless to say, I'm as happy as everybody on this site.
