Sound Off !!! - Introduce Yourself

My love of OSU football started in my freshman year at there when they somehow stuck me on the same dorm floor as a lot of the team members that year (1969, Strdley 3). I kept up my contacts with the team as best I could during my student days and time as a faculty member during the 20 years I taught at the College of Dentistry. I used to make mouthguards and treat players and some are still patients of mine to this day. Some of my best memories are lunches with Woody at the Jai Lai and listening to some of his stories. When I die I hope they drape the OSU banner over my casket. Go Bucks.

Hey guys,

I was born in Niles, OH and am currently living just outside of Warren, OH. I'll be 18 in February and have been watching and loving the Buckeyes since Cooper's last season in 2000. I've only been to a couple games in my life. I received my notice about a week ago that I've been accepted to tOSU for the 08-09 school year so I'll be even more engulfed in Buckeye football than I already have been! I'm happy to find a forum of knowledgable Buckeye fans and hope to contribute when I can... Here's to a good performance Monday night and another solid recruiting class!

I'm 24, born and raised in Centerville, OH. I'm good friends with Nugent, I know Hawk pretty well too (from high school ball). Look forward to posting on this site, I've been dealing with SEC fans on a national site for quite some time.

Grew up in NY... moved from Connecticut to Columbus in 2001 to be with my fiance while she attended OSU. I never was much of a college football fan, but after a few years here, I've found that Buckeye fever grows on you. It's amazing to see what Tressel does with the team year after year...

Been contributing for a while and absolutely love the site so I thought I may introduce myself.

I'm a native Yankee, but I've been raised Texan and currently live in Houston where I'm surrounded by SEC and Big 12 enthusiasts.

My dad walked-on his sophmore and junior seasons to play for the great Woody Hayes and my mom wrote for the Latern during her time on campus.

I've attended both of the Buckeyes' recent trips to Texas (Alamo Bowl, Elite 8 vs. Memphis).

I love Ohio State recruiting and am absolutely thrilled about this year class (Crossing my fingers about certain others...)

All in all, I love OSU and I am psyched to watch them this Monday in the Superdome.

Grew up in northeast Ohio went to Youngstown State from 93-96 and have the 2002 National Campionship as the only title to brag about from any of my teams I root for....with Ohio State it has always been something different than the Indians or Browns or any team. I don't just root for Ohio State I don't just like this school and I don't just cheer them on to victory!!! I live and die every up and down of every play every game every year and I'm not about to change any time soon.

Buckeye Planet is the greatest site on the internet and I can't say enough how much I appreciate all of you who make it possible for the rest of us...

On the night of this National Championship Game I am more proud than ever to be a Buckeye!! This is truly a great time to be a Buckeye!:oh:

Let's Go Bucks!!!

For all the past Buckeyes before you who wore that Scarlet And Grey, bring home that National Championship back to Columbus!!!

How goes it fellow sports fans. I'm a Cbus native, in fact my only time spent living elsewhere was the handful of years I attended college in Illinois. I know, I know ... it seems blasphamis to grow up here and not go to tOSU. But when it was time to look at schools I just wanted to go experience something different. Starting off at Illinois Institute of Art and finishing at Bradley University, I can now say with confidence that theres no where in this region of the country I rather live than here.

I'm a big sports fan, and I consider myself a bit of a purist in that I'm all about playing for the love of the game and dignity. I played football competively for a few years in my early teens. I even spent one year playing with Brandon Joe (he was the grade above me) When I realized my individual strengths were better suited for hockey, which I was also playing, I switched to that almost exclusively. But not without playing some league basketball, soccer, and baseball along the way. Now a days my sport of choice is motorcycling and I relax with disc golf.

Although I have never been a student at tOSU, the Buckeyes have my support in all the sports they compete in. This is my city after all , and I have a lot of love and appreciation for where I come from.:oh::io:

My Buckeye Resume.
Toledo born. Ohio State schooled. Columbus resident. More importantly, while enrolled, was blessed enough to have worked at Ohio Stadium during the 2002 and 2003 seasons. Highly critical yet fanatically loyal. Addicted to recruiting, flashy offensive plays, linebackers and the Horseshoe. I love that building more than I love most people. Sorry humanitarians. Dislike anything that disrespects or poses a threat to The Ohio State University, OSU Athletic Dept., or attached traditions.
