songs that remind you of something

I haven't heard either of these in a long time.

Bob Seger's Night Moves reminds me of my senior year in high school. I still get that smirk when I hear it.

After I got out of college I was a engineer that traveled to customer sites. My company charged a pretty penny for my services. Many customers could not hide their bewilderment that they were paying so much for a kid. I lived on the road. Bob Seger's Turn the Page.

Any song that's on Pearl Jam's album "Ten" reminds me of freshman keg parties...because that album was played at every keg party that I went to

"Aerials" by System of a Down reminds me of Maui since it was on a bunch of times when I was there. It's probably one reason I like the song so much.

The Way We Were reminds me of the way we were. :tongue2:

Actually, I've got a laundary list of songs that remind me of various people. It's pretty sappy, so I won't get into. You'll thank me later.

:) That's the song my mother sang to my younger sister when she was a baby. Good memories.

1. "We belong to the City" reminds me of washing dishes at Max and Erma's back in high school because this dude Nadeem I worked with always sang it in accented (Middle Eastern accent I think) English when we worked.

2. The following lyric from the Rush song "Mission" always makes me think of Vincent Van Gogh:

"It's cold comfort
To the ones without it
To know how they struggled
How they suffered about it
If their lives were exotic and strange
They would likely have gladly exchanged them
For something a little more plain
Maybe something a little more sane."

Od course, so does Don MacLean's "Starry Starry Night." (duh).
