Songs/Albums that Changed Your Life

matz2

Sheeeeeeeeeeeit!
Radiohead - Paranoid Android

Actually, the entire OK Computer cd changed my life, and even though it is not my favorite song by Radiohead (Let Down), this was the song that first turned me on to them. IMO, they are the greatest band in the world. They will go down as one of the most important rock bands in history.

I cannot say a song "changed my life". I will say that Mike Ness of Social Distortion could drink a 12 pack of beast, a bottle of Jack, and kick all of Radiohead's asses w/ his his pinky finger! "Story of My Life" was the 1st Social D song I got into, but "Telling Them" is what the most kickass American band ever is all about.

Rush 2112

The theme of Side 1 is something that I have appreciated at different levels throughout my life. I only recently figured out exactly what Neil Pert(sp?) was thinking when he wrote it. Thanks to the internet, I was able to verify (at least partially) that I was right.

I won't delve into what the intended theme of the album really was. That is something for another thread.

I love music, and love a good band but I can say that no music has ever "changed my life" Way to many other important things that effect someone's life to have music be a life changing moment.

Sorry to hear that.

George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass" for me, along with Pearl Jam "Ten" and Public Enemy "Fear of a Black Planet" at an important time in my youth.

why?

Again I love music, always have always will, and yes there have been bands that have influenced what I listen to but I would never say music has changed my life
