Traffic was definitely a mess in some areas. We went up to an out of the way fen south of Bellefontaine and a 40 minute drive ended up taking an hour+40. 270 and 33 were a mess. Same coming back except we took back roads — the thriving metropolis of Milford Center hadn’t seen that many cars in the last 10 years combined.

I've heard other people talk about traffic being an issue in their areas. Not enough to shut down any cities, but maybe it doubled their normal drive time.
Maybe no one came to east side of Cleveland. I mean, I can buy that. Why would someone go there?

The next total solar eclipse that can be seen from the U.S. will be on Aug. 23, 2044. Starting in Greenland, the eclipse will travel through Canada before ending around sunset in Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota.

Another total solar eclipse will happen Aug. 12, 2045 and can be seen primarily from the U.S. It will span from California to Florida.

This total solar eclipse on Sept. 14, 2099, will cross a wide swath of the United States.
Cities include:
Minneapolis, Minnesota
Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Chicago, Illinois
Columbus, Ohio
Fargo, North Dakota
