SOCOM II was one of the best games released on the PS2.

I concur, re-release with some minor frame rate/graphical updates. Although this new one looks badass.

The beta for the multiplayer is up on the store. Is anyone playing? I downloaded it the other day and then it had about an hours worth of installing an update and I haven't touched the beta since.

I'm thinking about getting the Move bundle. Is it worth the price?

Been playing the Beta for the past 3 weeks.. it's diffrent than past SOCOMs. I'm a fan, takes a minute to get used to.. Zipper has already released info on the patch coming this month after launch. I believe it's #2 for pre-orders at Gamestop for this month, too..

I know they are doing "stress tests" on the server this week and have been reseting it every so often.. it's worth the download.. after you download it you'll get a 1.5 gb patch.. do it before you go to sleep, takes forever with everyone else downloading it.

My preorder should arrive soon, but I'm out of town on business until Friday. So, I'll be one then, probably all fucking weekend.

Don't own one game for the ps3.. I game on the xbox but I might pick this up.... actually I probably won't due to a lack of time but if it's THAT good then I might. :tongue2:

I just got the game, it's a blast. I'm about halfway into the campaign and haven't tried any of the other modes.
