Like many others it’s been an “off and on” thing for me for over 20+ years. Think I joined when I was 16-ish. Great way to stay connected to Ohio State even though I had recently moved away from the Buckeye State.

Hope we’re able to keep it together. Even though there’s many other Buckeye sites out there, I always circle back to Buckeyeplanet. Here’s to hoping we can figure it out….

This has certainly been key for me. BP has been a constant home away from home since I found it.

As stated before I am in And would help out financially. Just need to know how many other of my fellow BPers woul like to participate but as sparc noted need to know the total dollars we need by month and whether we could make it work with the number of folks willing to help out….

Seriously though, let me know on a number. If it's cost @heisman ~100k over 3 years that's like a 3k per month KTLO?

gotta be a way to come up with that between what 50-60 guys here? That's at least 200 points of IQ between us.

Some further explanation.

I'm including what I paid for the site, the initial capital investment to get things up to date (we were a couple of updates behind when I took over), and vendor invoices. Much of this was spent on our BP IG. Have you checked it out? A lot of work from a lot of talented people to post all that content. It worked out in terms of selling product, but didn't work out in terms of driving people to the website. That's the biggest problem, getting new users. Cost wise, it really comes down to hosting, backups, and keeping the Xenforo software updated. It's not that expensive just to keep it breathing.
