So anyway I was largely physically paralyzed and am better now

They're still not positive if that isn't what I have. I am supposed to visit the doctor once a week.

Edit:

Referring to Gator.

Also, if you look at Van Alan's:

1: Scottish gene. Check
2. From the midwest. Check.
3. Onset in mid 30s. Check.

I only told my dad when they said they were "pretty sure" this was what I had. Didn't want to freak the girl or my sister out. They didn't even tell me what it was at first, I had to google it on the phone I sneaked in that was supposed to not be used. . .

I hear STDs can cause Reiter's...............

They asked me over and over if I used needle drugs or had sex with men etc. Yeah, um, no.

Edit: That is a huge cause btw, but they think I caught some crazy East Asian virus from an immigrant, and my body freaked out. They ended up not being concerned about what the virus (or bacteria, though it appeared to be a virus they dosed me with tons of weapons grade antibiotics just in case) was, because they said it didn't matter, and they were only concerned with my autoimmune reaction, as the virus was gone.

Supposedly once this subsides completely it won't come back if it is Reiter's, or has only a marginally higher chance than the average Joe of coming back. I just need to not get sick for a while, which I have been from my girl. They vaccinated me for tons of stuff: flu, pneumonia, polio, the works in hopes I wouldn't get sick while it goes away.

It started with my knees giving out, then the hips go, then the shoulders. It wasn't necessarily even pain after a while, it was just staring at your body and going "move damn it!" and it not responding.

So, the knees stop working, then the hips, then the shoulders.

Did you not mention your dick because it had already stopped working?

Actually. . .

When I googled Van Alan's Syndrome one of the main things it said is that impotence almost always occurred. I was freaked! Moreso than the whole "you will die soon" thing. I'm actually serious. . . Ha.

Who the hell are you kidding?! :shake:

I was wondering who would notice that. And BB met me: he can attest that I am quite hip (and by "hip" I mean "not ancient.")

Edit:

And random update: I am totally fine, it was a flash of joint reaction that went away and I'm not sick. Cortesana doesn't have Scarlet Fever, she has some rare bacteria attacking her skin and is taking antibiotics both orally and topically. I have to rub it on her chest. Such a horrible job. I think I rubbed it into her breasts for an hour. . . She had just had strep throat, hence the Scarlet Fever worry with her crazy rash and hive looking things.

So ta da! I'm done! It's her turn to be all messed up now. :)

I'm not a doctorb, but I recommend rubbing a topical antibiotic on the back of her throat. I'll leave the methods up to you.

Glad you're doing better kinch, and best of luck to Cortesana! :)

a hip white guy to tell her how things were
