You've likely already noticed that the larger golden buckeyes are now smaller. The width of a full compliment of the old ones was causing problems with the implementation of skyscrapers in the threadview (something we've quite literally been forced to do, isn't that cute?). The good news is that there's now a little less yellow (maize) on the site.
Deety and I (Deety did all the productive work, I generally made things worse and more difficult -- it's a healthy partnership that way) have been working on a clean and effective execution of that skyscraper placement for a couple weeks. Just turned out to be a particularly difficult process as everything we tried broke something else. They seem to be solid now though, and should be coming live over the next day or two. When they do, I hope you'll report any glitches or problems, no matter how trivial they may seem.
Not for nothing, we've had skyscrapers in the threadview for unregistered or not-logged-in views for months. This is a spread to the rest of the views. The way they were implemented for the unregistered just wasn't clean enough for those logged in.
