Slow load times Wednesday afternoon (1/6/10)

Something was really slamming mysql this afternoon, but seems to have sorted itself out. It's an issue I'm actively tracking, so no worries if you saw 30 second or greater load times between 3 and 3:30 ET this afternoon.

Haven't yet sorted out what was dragging everything down, but we've installed a couple new monitoring tools and hopefully we'll be able to narrow it down to a specific function or query in the near future.

Just a heads up to identify that slow period as a known issue.
