Hi Dave,

I've got a slingbox that is just sitting here. I just moved from Vermont to Columbus and will be going to the game on saturday. Since Time warner finally got off there asses and got the deal done I will try and get it working for you and a friend in Vermont. I will follow back with you later this week.

Hey guys,

I knew exactly how both of you feel. Living in Vermont I was used to not watching the game or having to pay for ESPN video over the net. I am working on the slingbox now and will let you know later tonight.

Are there any other folks on here with Slingbox setups or something similar? I think it would be cool if we could connect our members overseas with people in the States to get them OSU games.

In this day and age, I think every Buckeye should be able to get their football one way or another, regardless of where they are on this planet!

Slingbox broadcast questions: Ohio State vs YSU

I am in Thailand for the next 2 weeks and would love to watch the YSU and OU games via slingbox and BTN. I have subscribed to 2 internet portals, but they are not caring the game. Thanks for any help.

Bump. Do these things work. Specifically I am trying to get around buying the NHL and NFL package to watch my Sabres. I have family living in Buffalo now. Can I buy the system, hook it up at their place and just log in and watch from anywhere?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes, works quite well. I've had one for a couple of years. I don't use it a lot but when I do, I'm REALLY glad I have it.

The only down side is that you'll be in a situation where you are a slave to what they are watching unless you hook up directly to a receiver that they do not use... which may not be a bad thing.

Heck, you could be on to something... a network of co-located of sling boxes.
